Paradisus Rio de Oro - A Naturalist's Guide
Nestled in a forested coastal setting, Paradisus Rio de Oro (PRO) offers a unique opportunity to experience Cuba’s rich natural environment. The resort is bordered by Bahia de Naranjo National park to the east, Sendero Arqueologico Las Guanas Park to the west, and a mangrove lagoon bordering the resort, creating a diversity of ecosystems. This Guide is a small project to help resort guests identify plant and animal species that might be encountered during their stay, some of which are endemic to Cuba, so they might better appreciate the island’s distinctive flora and fauna.
