Here you will find images of landscapes, nature and travel, genres that have dominated the fabric of my photographic journey. Of course my training as a physical geographer, career as a hydrologist, and an outdoor enthusiast has strongly influenced my work. My research and personal journeys have taken me to some spectacularly beautiful places on Earth, places that evoke a very personal response and an overwhelming need to capture it in an image. But along those paths beside rivers, streams, and lakes, through forests, and up mountains there is an equal amount of nature that warrants similar responses. Ansel Adams wrote, "The world remains a beautiful place and it is the role of the artist to record this beauty as 'he' sees it". So within these pages you will find the world as I see it.
